SCOTLAND HIGHLAND
Scotland’s Highlands feel like a place that breathes with you. The air is clean and sharp, the kind that wakes you up the moment you step out of the car. Mountains rise out of the mist with no need to show off, and the light changes so quickly you learn to stay ready. I wandered from quiet lochs to long empty roads, stopping whenever the landscape pulled me in which was often. There is a calm honesty to the Highlands, a sense that nature is doing its thing whether you are there or not. As a photographer it is a place that keeps you curious. As a traveler it reminds you to slow down and look a little closer.
